Virtual Mother’s Day Brunch

With special guests

Congresswoman Kim Schrier, M.D.

and Issaquah’s Mayor Mary Lou Pauly

Life Enrichment Options (LEO) was founded in the 1980’s by mothers who wanted to create affordable, supportive, long-term housing for their developmentally disabled adult children. Today there are four LEO homes, with a 5th home on the way. Mother’s Day is normally a highlight on LEO’s calendar. We celebrate by partnering with Swedish Hospital to host our annual Mother’s Day Brunch, where mothers raising developmentally disabled kids can enjoy a free outing with their families in a restaurant-like environment.

This year, while we look forward to returning to our normal programming, LEO is delighted to offer this virtual reflection on the challenges and successes of women in the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic.
