Housing:
We have built three Adult Family Homes (AFH) in Issaquah. Each home is managed by a licensed care-provider who lives, full-time and provides the residents with a home-style environment.
LEO is in the process of adding two additional homes to serve the Snoqualmie Valley
Education:
LEO works to provide parents or guardians raising a child with developmental disabilities valuable information, educational forums and guidance as necessary during the years the child is living at the home.
Recreation:
The annual Challenge Series Races are held in Issaquah, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, Lynnwood, East Spokane and Oak Harbor. Each event is co-sponsored with a local Rotary club and gives younger people with a physical or developmental disability several hours of racing soapbox derby-like gravity cars down a racecourse.
LEO works to provide the other recreational activities by partnering with local community centers.
Employment:
LEO works with parents to help them ready their child for employment as well as supporting strong programs like the Rotary Partners for Work and other job placement agencies.
